On the bulletin boards these past few days, rumors came out that Chris Cormier was hospitalized with kidney failure. According to the rumor, Chris was heading to England to train with Dorian Yates, and he never made it. The rumor was that even his train ticket from London to Birmingham was set up, and Dorian was waiting for him.
After verifying this with his training partner in New Jersey today, we have learned that this is not exactly true. Chris Cormier wants everyone to know that he does not have kidney failure, he doesn't know where that rumor came from and he should be fine in a day or two. According to his training partner, they were working out with heavy weights when Chris pulled something. He has taken a few days off, getting it checked out and is resting. There is more to this story, which will come soon from Chris himself.
But Chris did want to go to England to train with Dorian and he was and still will be heading there after he trains a little more in New Jersey. Chris wants everyone to know that he will be ready for the 2006 IFBB Atlantic City Pro show.
