Arnold Schwarzenegger will run for California Governor
August 6, 2003

  • Getbig.com told you so!

Past Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger, after thinking it over, has decided to enter the California Governor recall race. With Gray Davis facing a record 35 billion dollar California budget deficit, and popularity levels under 20 percent, now is the right time for Arnold to capitalize in his race to enter the world of politics.

Arnold, with his announcement on the Jay Leno Show (the show tapes at 4pm Pacific Coast time), has made him the talk of the town all over California and around the world, far above and beyond the first court appearance of Kobe Bryant in Colorado. Arnold now becomes the front runner for the Republican nominee if Gary Davis is recalled. The talk of the town is that the campaign for his race for governor will be called 'Total Recall'.

Rumors last week and even this week indicated that Arnold would not run, but those in the inner circle knew better. With Democratic pressure ruling out Dianne Feinstein (a senator from California) from entering the race, the timing was right. One of the main reasons that he almost did not put his name on the ballot was because his wife, Maria Shriver, was somewhat against it.

Of course, the Democrats and Gary Davis' allies will start doing everything to stop the Terminator from terminating David. Most likely, they will label him a dope smoker, a mean guy, or declare that he has had affairs in the past. But we know the truth. Arnold, just like he puts on the Arnold Classic with his partners, will come and make California back into a lean, clean running machine.

Like the early rumors in the Getbig.com Bulletin Board area, whom people predicted that he would run, we are all about to start on a remarkable journey. Perhaps at the next Arnold Classic, Governor Schwarzenegger will be presiding!
