Jen Hen strutted her stuff on stage in typical Hendershott fashion and
you could tell she had the confidence to take it all. Her evening show
routine was a crowd favorite when cruised out in the motorized vehicle.
Adela look good however appeared not as sharp as she did at the Olympia
- it seemed as though she was distracted or not as focused for this show.
We'll see if she can rebound and hold onto her Olympia title. Kelly Ryan
was obviously disappointed with 4th and understandably so. Hands down
Kelly Ryan busted it out in the 45 second routine. She looked to improve
her physique however the monkey wrench that affected the placings in the
show was Kim Klein. Kim was by far the break out competitor of the show
and her physique was top notch. I felt she had the best overall physique
of any fitness competitor. If she brings the same package she had at the
Arnold to the NY PRO Fitness stage - it's a done deal - she will take
the show. Flyin Ryan had placed second to Susie Curry for a number of
shows and was thought to be the next in line for the title of Ms. Olympia
or Ms. Arnold Fitness. Slipping to third at the Olympia and now for the
first time in her career. out of the top three to fourth, one has to wonder
what's in store for KR. We all know she's the queen of routines but will
that ever be enough and will the judges continue to mark her down in the
physique rounds no matter what she brings to the stage? Only time will
tell. It was an emotional show for Stacey Hylton, her father passed away
recently from Cancer and dedicated her performance to him. The yellow
LIVE STRONG band she wore is a representation of her support for cancer
research. Julie Palmer nabbed sixth and did a ICE/FIRE routine in the
evening. Tracy Greenwood has some good strength moves and is consistent
in her performances. Debbie Czempinski brought a tight little package
to the stage and had a great routine in the evening. Tanji Johnson went
old school with her evening routine sporting an afro. Min do O'Brien was
lean and hard, much harder than most of the competitors but did a good
job with her routines. Carla Sanchez busted out a Colorado/winter routine
in the evening and did well in her 45 second round, her lower body continues
to plague her in placing better. Kirsten Nicewarner struggled through
the show with a tear in her shoulder. She will be going for surgery sometime
in the next couple of months.
