Quads,Hamstrings,Calves:


Leg Press - 5 sets
Leg Extensions - 4 sets
Adductor Machine - 1 X failure

Seated Leg Curls - 4 sets
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts On Platform - 2 sets (trying to "unhinge" my lower back)  :(

Leg Press Calf Extensions - 5 sets

Good workout for the second week in....will add more volume soon....back is a mess but fuck it.

I did legs today too.

4 sets squats, light weight because my back sucks
3 sets leg extensions
3 sets leg curls
3 sets kettlebell squat/swings
20 minute Peleton hill ride to flush out the legs.

Fuck calves, I’m rivaling -aj-

whats wrong with your back? Can you do hypers and chins? maybe add in light squats in a few weeks after the extensions

My back has been going out on my for decades and in a week or so it would be fine again,then in a month or two the same deal.....wash,rinse,repeat.

I used to fold a small handtowel in a square and wear it on my left side under my lifting belt......seemed to help a lot.

This time......a straight month of fucking agony.

The looser and warmer I get as the day goes on,it seems to dissipate a bit but early in the day I have to use my hands on my quads to slowly push myself into an upright position.......moving my hands higher each time until I`m upright.....at times I`m walking hunched over for short periods in the early AM.

If I miss a step or take a false step in grass or something.........instan t knifelike pain.

No hyperextension machine at my gym.......did light stiff-legged yesterday.....I WILL NEVER squat again.

I re-habbed it once with a reverse hyper machine but I`m at a different gym now....hopefully it`ll pop back in........feels like a slipped disc or a pinched nerve.

Anyway ,that`s about the size of it.

1) There is no such thing as a 'slipped disc'

2) When was the last time you've had films done on the low back

3) Look up McGill big 3 and do them CONTROLLED...

4) What do you do for mobility / warm up?  (if you say bike for 5 mins then slowly build in weight...I will fucking kill you)

Great movement but so uncomfortable for me. The way it pushes on my stomach and exhausts me endurance wise. I get even a bit of anxiety/panic sometimes. You'd think someone who like brutal deads could at least do a set or two of hypers at the end of a deadlift session, but I keep putting it off, the machine looks so unappealing haha.

Standing curls are the same way, I'm completely exhausted by the ab bracing.

Haven`t had any films of my back in eons.

For warmups I do a couple sets of the first exercises in my workout.

I know I should be stretching with a cool down period.....I have always said I would but have actually done almost fucking nada !!  :(
